The Natural Awakenings National Calendar is free for events of interest to our readers that have regional or national interest. For small, local events, classes, etc. please go to your Local Natural Awakenings publication, many of which offer local calendar listings.
Please note that it may take up to 2-3 business days for events to be approved and appear on the National Calendar.
This event occurs monthly, on the first Saturday of January, February, March, April, October, November and December.
Interfaith dialogue refers to cooperative, constructive, and positive interaction between people of different religious traditions. Increasingly, opportunities for interfaith connections happen naturally in our places of family, work, worship, and community. With this diversity, comes the challenge to know and to be known, and the opportunity to expand our experiences and deepen our faith.
Interfaith Day Retreats will explore the questions, “How are we the same?” “How are we different?” “What unique gifts does my faith tradition offer for the good of the cosmos?” “How can we find our common place as we seek the place of Oneness within the Heart of the Divine?” Interfaith day retreats will offer an overview of a specific faith tradition with focus on contemplative prayer and practices. Participation in prayers with reflection, silence, solitude, and gathering of graces will inform the rhythm of each retreat day.
