Researchers in Germany suggest that high-intensity visible light from light emitting diodes (LED) applied daily for several weeks resulted in “rejuvenated skin, reduced wrinkles and a more resilient complexion.” They see such treatment as a potential alternative to Botox and cosmetic surgery for easing facial wrinkles.
