Solar Parking Meters




Multi-space “pay and display” parking fee receipt machines not only offer drivers more payment options, cut operating costs and double city revenues, they also can be a better choice for the environment. New York City has opted for 2,000 such muni-meters with a difference. Each is self-powered via an angled solar panel on top. They don’t even need direct sunlight.
