Holiday Spice Rx

A favorite holiday spice might soon be recognized as a natural medicine. An investigative study led by a U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) chemist suggests that a water soluble extract of natural cinnamon, which contains antioxidant compounds, could help reduce risk factors associated with diabetes and heart disease. More research is needed.
